Team Vinchay was officially named in 2017, drawing inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s multifaceted genius. It all began with six friends—Cole Monahan, Marcus Balliette, Erik Bisson, Brice W., Patrick Clayton, and Tyler Gattuso—who enjoyed each other’s company and shared a love for adventure. We participated in numerous races, often placing among the top finalists. Recognizing the need for expert guidance, we recruited coach Bryan Stone to help us run more efficiently and pain-free. Today, we pass on his invaluable knowledge and tips, attributing our achievements to his mentorship.
Character is paramount within Team Vinchay. We only recruit selfless individuals with good hearts, for whom volunteering is a core principle. Our members actively engage in various community initiatives, including organizing clothes and food drives for the homeless, providing mentorship to children in juvenile detention centers, and spearheading Christmas toy drive collections and distributions. Over the years, our commitment to these causes has been unwavering, as we strive to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
Over the years, we have organized races and secured partnerships with prominent brands such as lululemon, 2XU, and Live Ultimate. Initially known as “big guys who ran fast and far,” we take pride in breaking the mold of typical runners. Many of our members are dedicated to weight training, maintaining an impressive build while running efficiently. This unique combination sets Team Vinchay apart; we are not just runners, but adrenaline junkies who excel in both running and maintaining our size.
